Barbara Tarnawski runs a creative design practice focused on quality sustainable architecture.
The practice specialises in residential design ranging from large rural residences, mid to low rise multi-unit housing, residential, alterations and additions as well as affordable and specialised government housing. In addition, the practice has extensive experience in Tourism, childcare, aged care, sporting complexes and small commercial projects.
Designs are highly crafted, individual and personal, they respond to site, climate and consider current and future requirements of the occupants. Ecologically sustainable design underpins our work providing long term comfort with financial benefits.
We aim to achieve buildability and cost-effectiveness.
We have extensive experience in designing for bushfire and flood prone sites.
Great buildings result from great clients. Clients are encouraged to be involved throughout the project, so that the experience of building is a rewarding and satisfying one.
A complete architectural service can be provided commencing with design concept, feasibility studies to council approval, detailed design and documentation, contract administration, and project management.
The complete service will ensure the best overall result however; it is possible to for a partial service to be undertaken involving selected stages with an agreed scope of work.
